Supply List

 

Wiggle your toes in the sand and watch a sailboat off in the distance as you sew Paula’s quick and easy original paper foundation pattern (6" x 9" or 9" x 12"). By the end of the day, you will be making your vacation plans for next summer

  • Basic sewing kit
  • Sewing thread
  • Sewing machine, in good working order, manual
  • Extension cord and multiple socket outlet
  • Iron and board
  • Spray starch to share

Fabric:

  • Umbrella: scraps
  • Sand dune: large scrapes of different values of browns
  • Sea: large scrape
  • Sky: 1/4 yard (includes enough for backing)
  • Sailboat: scrapes of brown for boat and fun colors for the sails

*Bring extra fabrics to play with

Embellishments:

  • Embroidery floss for sea grass. umbrella pole
  • Tiny seashells
